Our flagship product Red Belt Gym was born out of frustration. Our founder, Brian Debes, owned a martial arts school and struggled with clunky software and poor customer service from existing CRM providers. Instead of accepting "that's just how it is," he built a better platform, and he uses it at his gym every single day.
Red Belt Gym is more than just martial arts management software—it's a complete platform built specifically for martial arts schools by people who understand the unique challenges of running a dojo, academy, or gym.

Brian Debes establishes Red Belt Software after experiencing frustration with existing martial arts software. The development team builds the base customer relationship management software and names it Red Belt Gym.

Brian “Barncat” Debes
Our founder, Brian Debes, is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Eddie Bravo and the head instructor of 10th Planet Beaumont. A decorated competitor and former 10th Planet “Warrior of the Year,” he has dedicated his career to teaching effective, technique-driven Jiu-Jitsu and building a strong, supportive community on and off the mats. Drawing from his firsthand experience as a gym owner, Brian also founded Red Belt Software, LLC to help martial arts schools and service-based businesses streamline operations, grow membership, and thrive.
